We have 12 fully-furnished one or two-room cabins. Cabins were originally designed for mining families. All our cabins are duplexes.
- Our 2-room cabins have a common room with fully-equipped kitchenettes, bedroom, and bathroom.
- Two of our 1-room cabins have a fully-equipped kitchenettes.
- Our other hotel-style cabins are our most economical options and have a variety of bed arrangements.
- Charcoal grills are available at cabins. Gas grills are available for your use near the fire pit.
- Gather at the fire pit to make s'mores.

Conejos Coffee Shop is located inside the Lodge. We are open 7am - 7pm. Order your favorite speciality drink and choose your own adventure! Sit inside or outside of the lodge or take it back to your cabin to enjoy.
Evening Bonfires
End your day relaxing next to a bonfire under the stars. We offer evening bonfires for your enjoyment. Simply make a request at the lodge and we will prepare it for you.

About Platoro
PLATORO, COLORADO was a historic mining camp established in the 1870s when silver and gold was discovered around the nearby headwaters of the Conejos River.
The community derived its name from the Spanish words for silver and gold (Plata and Oro). Much of the rustic flavor of those storied times remains in many of the log cabins in the area as well as our lodge.
In 1951 the Platoro Resevoir was built and became known as a resort town. Today, Platoro draws hikers, Tour Divide cyclers, fisherman, ATV enthusists, hunters and photographers.
You will find that both peace and adventure are easily within reach when you stay with us.
